Ratings and Reviews
Keeps it simple and practical
The bottom line is that Moblo is really quite pleasant to use. The toolset maybe very limited compared to a behemoth like SketchUp but despite that (or maybe because of that) basic modelling is a breeze. You wouldn’t want to be using this for massive projects with hundreds of parts but if you need to visualise something you intend to make it’s a lot better than the back of an envelope.
Worth noting is that measuring and snapping are all done in reference to the boundary box. Everything is basically rectilinear in Moblo. You can conjure up spheres, cylinders, triangles etc but you can’t actually manipulate the internal geometry or snap to any part of it. You can resize the boundary box and the shape within is redrawn to fit the box. That’s it. If you want to get creative with abstract shapes you’re out of luck. In the real world though this isn’t such a terrible compromise to simplicity.
The user interface is brilliantly designed for touchscreen users and adapts perfectly to large iPads and small phones.
The improvements that came in this last major update, including grouping and the fantastic measure tool, have (at least for me) made this a seriously useful tool. Factor in there’s no subscription costs to worry about and I think for smaller scale makers and tinkerers this is definitely worth a look.

Hello. I was looking for an app for a furniture project and came across yours. I liked the interface and features, I immediately bought it, drew my project and there are points that would be great to get into the application. For example: 1. Grouping objects, my wardrobe and its doors consist of 5 elements, and if you need to move it, then selecting a group is much more convenient than each individual element. 2. Synchronization of projects between devices, it would be great to do this through the cloud. 3. the ability to select one object and center it in relation to another object on one of the sides, center, left edge, and so on ... Thank you, good application.
Easy to get started, easy to get stuck
This is a really promising app. I really like the ability to quickly add and transform shapes, and the materials feature is cool. The parts list is also brilliant. However, there is a lack of instructions. How do you manage items as a group? What happens when you lock them (apparently you cant unlock them, which can spoil a whole project). You can transform objects precisely with a dialogue, but not place them (duplicate and then offset) with values. You cant align items, too, as far as I can see.
