UNDO YOUR MISTAKES
Accidentally click on a mine? No problem! Since every board is solvable, there are no game overs – simply click the Undo popover and keep playing. Mistakes add 10 seconds to your time.
STAT TRACKING
The main statistic tracked in Mineswifter is the perfect game, which is a board completed without mistakes or hints. Try to beat your longest perfect streak or your average time!
DAILY CHALLENGES
Mineswifter also offers daily challenges, which can generally be completed within a few minutes. Each one is carefully curated to make sure it's fun and rewarding for both new and experienced players. Check the stats to compare your performance to players from around the world!

Excellent minesweeper twist
Everyone is familiar with how minesweeper works and plays, so I don’t need to explain the gameplay mechanics, and how they work.
The game is smooth, fast, and responsive, with modern features that help prevent frustrations such as an undo button, it being impossible to get 50/50 chances, and the ability to save your current game for a later date.
Being able to zoom in and click with precision helps make this game far better than the alternatives on the AppStore.
My only two gripes with the game is that, firstly, when selecting the mine/flag mode, the buttons are extremely small. I frequently find myself fighting with the buttons, trying to enter and exit flag mode. I feel like the buttons should be a single slightly larger button, so you can tap once to exit between modes rather than have to tap two different buttons. This is coming from an iPhone 6 user.
The second gripe is that when swiping from the left of the screen to the right, it puts you back into the main menu. It would be nice if there was a way to disable this behaviour in settings, as the back button at the top left is more than efficient to return to the main menu at will. Because of this mechanic, I often accidentally return to the main menu when trying to zoom out and move around the playing board.
These two issues do not ruin the experience, but I feel like they’d make the game a solid ten if they were implemented.

Exactly what you want from a minesweeper game
It's minesweeper, but solvable every time. The daily challenges are fun and the interface is clean and easy to follow. There's not much more to say other than if this was installed as standard on every mac (like MS minesweeper was back in the day) then I wouldn't bat an eyelid. Oh, and there's no in-app purchases or subscription nonsense that ruins other casual timewaster games on the app store.
As if made by Apple themselves!
Beautifully designed! It just looks great. Love the daily challenges too.
If this came preinstalled on every mac, I wouldn't even question it! It fits right in with everything else.
