Absolutely fantastic.

Just wanted to do a quick room plan to record measurements so my friend could help with some design. Tried a few different free apps and they either didn’t work or wanted you to pay a lot for basic features.
Downloaded this app and wow. So impressed. Used my iPhone camera to scan the room as the app recommended thinking it would be seriously buggy. Honestly blown away. It mapped the whole room (even with me waving my phone around like I’d have a few too many drinks) and even got all of the measurements correct to within a few cm. It detected the window, bed, chair, built in cupboards etc etc.
I was then able to view the room in 3D as well.
Very happy, thanks a lot guys brilliant app!

Robbery!! Subscription paid and cannot export plans

I have been trying for weeks to fix an issue since they changed the subscription plans. We finally got all our plans moved back into the right workspace after so much back and forth between myself and support with no answers for days on end and the plans are still locked today!!!! We have even tried to cancel our subscription and renew on one of the new subscription plans but there is no option to resubscribe if you have an existing account. I have sent countless emails and chat requests to support but no one will answer me. We are letting our own customers down all because of magicplan’s inability to complete a support ticket. Used to be such a good app and to be honest the concept is still good. The business just fails to deliver it.

P.S. we do not use the AR “feature” which draws and measures the plan for you as it is massively inaccurate and their response to this was “you can manually change the measurements”....wow. More of a party trick than anything else.

Great App and Even Better Customer Support

I’ve been using this app for a few years now and I really can’t fault it. I’ve also had very few issues (1 actually, and that was today) and I was truly blown away by how efficient the customer support is.

I submitted my issue online, received an automated response stating someone will reach out to me within 1 working day, which is fairly normal. To, my amazement I received a response from tech support (Stefanie) within a couple of hours explaining why I was seeing the error and she rectified the problem within minutes.

Truly 5⭐️ support.

One recommendation I would add for this app. Some people (like me) us this for their home, maybe their parent’s or partner’s to aid with buying furniture and/or renovations. These kind of users don’t want to pay monthly fees or subscriptions, which I assume are more aimed at professionals who use this app for hundreds of different projects. Is there anyway a feature can be added (for a small fee) that would allow people to upgrade a plan / unlock it with a token to allow modification of that plan across multiple devices?
