Lorex Cloud 4+

No notification that the app had changed from Flir cloud to Lorex cloud spent alot of time messing around for no reason!
Connected via the new app with no issues yesterday after live chatting with an agent, today unable to see live streaming on the app, the app is working the time is ticking away but no picture....Have deleted reconnected and turned wifi on and off 😡 and still nothing. Help desk is only manned in USA times which doesnt help residents else where in the world with issues. Defeats the whole principle of having security cameras that can be monitored via an app!

A lot of people are saying that this does not work.

Well I’m going to go against the grain and tell you that it does.

I don’t know if other users have been using it on 3G or 4G only and that’s why they’re thinking it’s not working because I’ve been using it on WiFi not only at home to test but out and about at restaurants and locations that I’m logged in to on their WiFi and it works perfectly well in the UK.

Admittedly it takes up to 10 seconds to login and boot up from the second you start the app but my life isn’t that busy that I can’t wait 10 seconds.

If it didn’t work for me believe me it would be uninstalled and a bad report would have been left. The facts remain that you don’t have a choice now as you have to use Lorex Cloud because it’s going to be the only option available for these cctv systems.

I’m using this on a digital cctv and analog cctv systems both Lorex systems. It works on both but my analog Pan Tilt and Zoom cannot be controlled using this app. Hopefully Lorex will rectify this issue at a later date?

I am a UK user and have had theses systems working for over five years now with no problems.

Been using the old Lorex secure on 2 systems. No problems. Able to see both work yards from any where.
When switched over to cloud app, only one system logged. Main system didn’t log and tried everything to get it to connect to main system. But i just get spinny wheel when I tap connect then nothing. I don’t know if it’s connecting or what?
Why change something that wasn’t broke. Very dissatisfied disappointed and frustrated!!!

For all those out there who are having trouble using this app to run their system like I did, I would highly recommend downloading the Lorex cirrus app.

The cirrus app Seems to run only high definition systems in my experience but to the same standard as the old secure app.
The cloud app in my experience runs the 4K high definition system is the same as the old secure app.

So basically try both apps for your system and one of the apps should work perfectly.
