Unable to reserve items
Used to be able to reserve items but cannot now. Told only can search for items and have to reserve items on a PC!
If an items is held at a Prison library then you cannot reserve it. Waste of time having it in the inventory. Gives false hope that a much wanted item is available when it is not.
New Update - awful
Edit - still awful. Very slow. the app doesn’t work the majority of the time which means you cannot reserve items. It seems to stop working at night time then comes back online in the morning. I really wish they would revert back to the old version as this one has no benefit and is waste of tax payers money!
After waiting a long time with no app as it was been “developed” (usually these things happen in the background, then the apps are switched to the new one) the new app is pretty much the same just less useable. I also cannot reserve books as I have “invalid date” when I click reserve. 2 steps backwards, well done
They've destroyed this App!
This App used to be helpful. Not perfect, but good enough. Until the library reorganisation in June 2024.
Now I just see little circles going round and round for my loans and orders. And I never receive those helpful reminders when a book is due for return.
Because the library computer system has also been changed. Which is difficult for the new library staff. The most experienced already left our library because of the sudden changes to their terms of service.
So now we have chaos!
Due to distant bureaucrats who do not respect their hardworking library staff. Or the needs of their readers.
