Review
It did act up once but then it quickly went back to normal. It provides all different colours from pastel to hot and you can even turn it off when ur in bed. Don’t worry it has a option to turn your light back to normal if you swipe across from the colours.
There are different modes like party e.t.c and if you don’t like the colours on the mode it lets you change them.
Far from simple
I could not believe the complexity of setting this up. The bulb must be activated fair enough and connected to WiFi fair enough. To connect to the WiFi you must put in the password, never a simple task. Then it doesn’t connect so you try again, and again must enter the password. Doesn’t connect again. Okay connecting is simple do I must be doing something wrong. Read the instructions and discover that the fact it only uses the 2.4 WiFi and not the 5, again fair enough. Then discover that it cannot distinguish between these wavelengths as other WiFi devices do. So you need to separate your WiFi into two. Ye gods. Then rename the two speeds as two different routers. Then go round and retune every WiFi device as it won’t recognise the name any more since you changed it. For me that’s renaming two routers, then reconnecting three TVs, seven cctv cameras, two phones, Alexa, VOIP phones system, iPad, laptop, tablet, desktop, two printers, and that’s just what comes to mind. This is home and office hence the number of devices. All that to have a light bulb connected to Alexa.
Not on your life. I just can’t see how this is any good for anyone.

I love this app and how you can turn your light off and on or to a different colour but the only thing I would say is annoying with this app is that it always disconnects or stops responding so my Alexa that it’s plugged into doesn’t recognise that it’s connected then I have to go to my phone and reconnect or turn the light off or on or to a new colour.
Overall thought it is a good light and I would recommend if your the type of person who Carnt be bothered walking to the light switch every minute. 😄😃😄
