Description
Inspired by the military theory of Carl von Clausewitz and the European war campaigns of Napoleon, Kriegspiel is a chess-variant played by two opposing players on a 20 x 25 game board. Capture the enemy's Arsenals to win. Deploy your Lines of Communication to keep friendly units in contact. Block enemy lines for strategic advantage.
"The surprises of this Kriegspiel seem to be inexhaustible," wrote French Situationist Guy Debord. In Debord's view the game represents the totality of factors at play in wartime maneuvers, what he called "the dialectic of all conflicts."

Excellent. Looking forward to varying levels of AI. However one more thing. Why don’t you turn this into a real Kriegspiel simply by using fog of war like the darkness chess variant. Thereby I do not see the other pieces and they cannot see mine. Can you do this? This would be brilliant if you could. As it is it looks based onThe War Game. I am also guessing that introducing fog of war is not easy but maybe it could be done.

thanks. hoping to add harder AI in the future. for now, playing against another human is the most fun. also agree about fog of war -- would definitely add a more interesting dynamic to gameplay.
Its amazing but..
The game is fun to play, but is very repetitive after a while and i would love to see some updates, different maps maybe? I would also like to see harder Ai as nobody plays this game for online, and the current Ai is far too easy.

thanks. yes these are definitely the two main issues at the moment: mediocre AI, and not enough online playerbase. i'm actively working on a machine-learning driven AI that hopefully will be better.

Awesome game maybe later down the line u could release a game where units have more freedom to move and implement more types of forests and hills that effect stats similar to the tabletop Kriegspiel war games
