What a lousy excuse for an app. It’s like we’re back in the early days of app development. The different sections take up too much real estate, making it extremely easy to lose your place in the app. Autofill just doesn’t work the way it should. Recently, there’s been an issue with images not showing up, so you have to take multiple photos of the same thing and delete the corrupted images in order to upload the job. Which is obviously extremely annoying and time consuming, but the developers can’t seem to make the app stable, and quite frankly don’t seem to care. Which is the main issue here - no thought or condensation for the poor souls who rely on this app on a daily basis. And that’s just scratching the surface. Don’t even get me started on the abysmal Kaptur website (knock knock. Who’s there? Your future self, still waiting for the web page to load). Get a grip, y’all

I used Kaptur 1 for about 6 years, and have used Kaptur 2 for the last 5 months.
Kaptur 1 wasn't perfect, fair enough, but it takes a special kind of talent to take a pretty reasonable app and completely tank it in the 2.0 version.
Work now takes consistently 10-15% longer to complete - hugely increased screen scrolling is just the tip of a big iceberg of issues - and as clerks paid per job, not by the hour, this version of Kaptur is costly - it doesn't make a difference to the salaried support team and app developers.
Solutions for glitches (the results of careless and misdirected app writing) typically require clerks to take further actions rather than putting a fire under the seats of the developers to work relentlessly to ensure they create a product that completely streamlines the inspection procedure, i.e. minimise time from the first photo to sending client the completed report.
My suggestion, try developing the app with the clerks as the most import people in the process, not the ease for the developers.
If you are considering investing in this app, in its current incarnation, don't.

Do not believe AllChaseNoStatus. I use this for work. It’s crap.

They took a useable but flawed app and added a whole load of new problems and glitches while fixing almost none of the pre existing issues. Most of the work seems to have gone into a totally pointless aesthetic overhaul which means you have to relearn the app from scratch.

Utterly incompetent, clueless design done without a word of consultation with the poor sods who have to use it
