Jerusalem Bible
The Jerusalem Bible (JB or TJB) is an English-language translation of the Bible which was first introduced to the English-speaking public in 1966 and published by Darton, Longman & Todd. As a Roman Catholic Bible, it includes the deuterocanonical books along with the sixty-six others included in Protestant Bibles. It also contains copious footnotes and introductions.
Excerpts from the Jerusalem Bible are used in the Lectionary for Mass that was approved by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales and that is used in most of the English-speaking world. Other translations have also been approved for use in the Liturgy by the English and Welsh bishops.

The 'Upgrade' to get rid of ads doesn't work
I like this app apart from the fact that it isn't possible to get rid of the ads. Like the other reviewer, I'm more than happy to pay for the app to be ad-fre, but clicking on the Upgrade button has no effect.
Also it's irritating that it isn't possible to read on continuously, but you have to return to the contents list at the end of each chapter. It makes for disjointed reading.
Otherwise an excellent and helpful app.
Such useful Highlights and Bookmarks
Love this app. I use the Highlights daily - they guide my prayers. Thank you. Bit tricky to open the Highlights menu as I have to click on it about 10 times until it opens. But I appreciate having this app at all.
WELL CREATED
The usability is quite easy and very efficient. I can easily find bible verses and scriptures without getting lost. They also have updates on catholic faith through daily readings...just good!
