- Custom Capo Positioning: Users can now select their capo fret from permitted frets.
- Transposing Instrument Support: Added global setting for transposing instruments, accessible in the settings. You can also override this setting per song directly in the player.

Great app
Great app for playing instruments and/or sing along to an incredible catalogue of songs from loads of different genres.
The key of songs can be changed to suit your preferred key.
If a song is not available, there is an option (below the available songs) to “vote” on the unavailable ones to be added in future.
Only thing I feel it misses is an option to change the chords to compensate the use of a capo e.g - if you played preferred to play a certain song and played an “A” with a capo on the 2nd fret (technically its a “B barre chord), the chances are the chord advised on the app would be a “B” - same principle applies for wherever you may prefer a capo with basic/open chords. Same principle applies of you play any open chords using a capo on any fret. Other than that, its a brilliant app and highly recommended.

A really great app, vastly improved in latest update (v.2.9)
As a guitarist, I have tried all sorts of apps and hardware (drum machines etc) to provide ‘backing/practice tracks, however none provided vocals and inevitably meant that i had to waste valuable practicing time setting them up for particular song, the chorus, bridge, instrumental etc. I am now more than happy to let Jamzone take care of all that background stuff so I can just enjoy playing.
The new capo feature is invaluable. I can now see the required ‘chord shape’ rather than the actual chord to be played.
Also the ability to simplify chords depending on a selectable user level is a great bonus.
It’s also a great app for ‘sing alongs’ and for learning how to sing along with the guitar (or your instrument of choice)
The cost of purchasing individual songs can mount up, but you can download a sample and if you don’t think it’s worth it then you don’t have to buy it.

Great app for solo players
Since my band split, I’ve been looking for backing tracks for the songs I’ve performed previously. Most backing tracks seem to be generic rather than specific. Jamzone has a huge number of proper song tracks in many genres and has about 95% of my repertoire. The great thing about it is the ability to mute any track-for me that’s vocal and guitar-and still have the rest of the ‘band’ there to fill out the sound. You can change pitch and tempo to suit and also loop specific parts for rehearsal. I love it!!
