Description

Send colors from your TV to Hue, LIFX, Nanoleaf, and Avea bulbs. Just aim Hue TV at your monitor and your space lights up with colors that follow the show you're watching. Too cool!

Using your device’s camera, the app chooses the most important colors in the picture – up to three – and puts you in the show. Even add extra, harmonized colors for a sophisticated effect.

Too bright? The global brightness control lets you dial it down for a quieter mood.

Magic

Bought this to add ambience light to my photo slide show music etc via Apple TV , very happy with it slight delay in changing colour and not always accurate. It's a few quid so it doesn't matter but well worth the few quid lol . Haven't tried it for a long duration but I guess it would be heavy on the batt ,so setting up a charger ,a table to sit the phone on is always req , you can adjust the area where the camera views by sliding the corners of the yellow graphical square on the phone screen to fit your tv screen .
Over all a very pleasant viewing addition to my slide show tv viewing worth the buy

Works well, could do with a little more control

Ignore the single review that says this doesn't work. It works perfectly well, so must not have been set up properly by the user. You need to be able to give up a device (iPad/iPod touch or iPhone) whilst using as the camera needs to point at the screen the whole time. Would be good if the app could dim the screen to minimum after a minute or so, so that the device screen doesn't distract. Would also be good to have the option to advise which side of the tv the lights you are using are on for a more synchronised effect.

Bit disappointing

I thought I would try this app out but it turned out to be a bit of a waist of money. The colours weren’t accurate & then after about 20 minutes my lights started strobing. I had to reset the app to make it stop. Tried the app again but it wasn’t giving me the desired effects I was hoping for so I deleted it.
