In the winter of 1944-1945, during the Second World War, Houffalize became a significant memorial site for the Battle of the Bulge. This village witnessed fierce battles between American and German forces, endured devastating bombings, and suffered tragic civilian losses, paying a heavy toll during these dramatic events.
On 16 January 1945, troops from the First U.S. Army joined those of the Third Army, marking far more than just a meeting: a symbolic and strategic victory that signalled the beginning of Germany’s defeat.

Each immersive video, lasting 2 to 3 minutes, geolocated and in 360°, puts you at the heart of events that shaped the end of the Second World War.
