Hoppy Mobility 4+

The scooters themselves are fab, quick and easy to use. Charge your phone, show you parking spaces (in app), but the parking spaces are really poor. You put in a destination on your maps (Google, linked with the app) and when you arrive it won’t let you park there, despite there being other scooters parked there, meaning more minutes finding a new parking space= more money spent. Would be amazing if they added more drop off points, charged nothing for ‘pausing’ your trip within the first hour, or amended their lack of drop of points.

I want to start by saying that the scooters themselves were terrible the brakes didn’t work until it would lock up the wheel and make you skid. What didn’t help this was the steering was too loose and wobbly.

There also wasn’t enough parking spaces and even when in one it’s says you aren’t in there and continues to take money off of you even though you aren’t riding the scooter. The gps system inside is extremely poor as to register that I was in the parking zone I had to go into a shop.

The app itself is buggy and at times hard to navigate with some things not being clear. Because of all of this I ended up getting charged nearly triple the amount that I initially paid for which was an hour pass.

So overall if you can stay away from this app and there scooters do so as they are scammers that take your money and don’t get back to you or help you with any of your problems along with the many other things wrong with it and the scooters themselves.

Constantly starts and stops, very limited parking spaces. Higher than usual cost. Glitchy app that continuously has to be restarted. Never registers that it’s actually in a parking space when you do eventually find one meaning you miss your reservation because you spend 30 trying 3 different parking spots trying to finally make the blimey thing stop charging you! Never use this service at all costs! Street pedestrian, Hopp, bird are so much better in every single way.
