Add Apple Music and frequently update!
The Harman Kardon Allure (Plug-in) is brilliant, it sounds great. However you need to frequently update it, regular Eco’s have many more features such as routines and Apple Music. Because of these limitations it makes it hard to commit to purchasing another, and staying within the Harman Kardon ecosystem.
Worked
First I couldn’t connect WiFi to the speaker. After contacting hk, they advised to reinstall the app, forget the speaker from Bluetooth settings and reset the speaker to factory settings (small hole in the back of the speaker with needle) after that I had no problems connecting.
Does not work
This app used to work but there seems to be a problem with the update and I am no longer able to connect to the speaker.
When trying to register alexa on this device using this app, it either crashes or times out. It is now an expensive doorstop... Very disappointed.
