Google Tasks: Get things done 4+

Can you help. I use this app a lot to organise my renovations of my house by rooms. but have a priorities section that is above all other for me. ( quick to go to) When I’ve done these priority tasks I like to put them back into the named room that the job was done in. Before marking complete. Up to this latest bug fix a couple if days ago I could move these tasks to a different named room before I marked it as completed, I can’t get the menu of rooms to come up now in order to move my tasks to a different place to mark as complete. Can this be changed back please. ( I do use the started system too but I have so many day to day jobs to do aswell that I find a priority daily it focussed me. Thank you Aug 24

This app has kept me sane. It really helps to take the load off my brain and help me to organise myself while doing a double house move and renovation. It sends me notifications when I want them which spur me on and I can put a date in to keep me on my toes if I want to. And most importantly to me it is free. Thank you.

I've been searching across the internet for a system to manage my schoolwork, and tried out all sorts of apps. All of them needed a paid subscription, frequently not worth it! This free app is a lifesaver, with a simple add-what you need interface where you can add descriptions and dates if you need to. Then, you can order the tasks, or in settings switch to do them by date. The quite literally only things I could improve with this app are a priority button, and especially the ability to connect with Google Classroom as part of the To Do class.

It’s nice the google have implemented time based reminders and the ability to import for google assistant but it’s a bit of a case of too little too late. These should have been included on day one of the app launch, not nearly a year later. How bloody lazy can you be google?
Silly question, they have poorly maintained several of their own apps over the last couple of years which is why I’m reviewing this here and not on a pixel phone (which I had one of last last year).

So it’s a bit basic but overall it’s ok for a free app. Similar experience to apples own reminders.
However, there are much better paid reminder apps out there such as Things. You have to buy the app but there are no subscription costs so it pays for itself in that respect.
