Ratings and Reviews
Don’t waste you time uploading
Don’t waste your time uploading this app. If so could rate this app it would be zero starts. It’ completely useless! It didn’t let me check in, crashes all the time, no choice of language (you either speak Portuguese or not). So instead of checking on app, I had to go to check in on the airport. Flew to Brazil on Lufthansa and their app was working 110%. I know GOL is low cost but it shouldn’t mean no money is spend on this app. Take a look at easyJet app (low cost in Europe) - their app is amazing!
It won’t accept non-Brazilian cards
I tried to buy a ticket with 4 different international cards from 2 different banks (virtual and physical for both) and they were always rejected. I had to ask for a Brazilian friend to buy the tickets for me and the payment worked. The website has the same issue as the app, their backend payment system apparently just can’t handle international buyers at all.
No language options
It’s a bit contradicting to have an airline app post update information in English yet their app is only in Portuguese and not have a clear way to change it from that language to English or any other language. To me it shows they do not recognise foreign travellers who need to book domestic flights in Brazil. This app would be a 5* if it had the ability to change language, it doesn’t so it gets 1*.
