DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP
the glow up guide is supposed to make you look better, when in reality it makes you look worse. all the ai does is airbrushes your skin, adds some unappealing lipstick and eyeshadow on to you and makes your eyebrows very large (well that’s what the ai did to me). it’s almost as if whoever made this glow up guide is hoping that the people who are stupid enough to pay for this app are also stupid enough to believe that what the ai recommends is what they should start doing, like no no no this app is literally trying to sabotage you, not make you look better. i was looking to improve my existing makeup routine, but that glow up guide was absolutely no help and was the biggest waste of my money. i’d understand if the app was free, but the fact you have to pay to get advice from an ai, not even a real person, and not only that, you also have a limited amount of scans is genuinely ridiculous. additionally, it’s concerning that the developer of this app believes that anyone would be paying money weekly for some advice from an ai… if you want this to be a successful app, get a real person who is qualified in makeup to give people advice, not some bot who does the bare minimum. it was an easy decision for me to immediately cancel my subscription.
Scam
Saw this app on facebook. I downloaded it & paid subscription to get my color analysis and this was not provided. The results of the scan are “your face shape is oval” - thanks I couldn’t tell that by looking - “here are two celebrities with oval faces”. I sent a message via the app “support” which bounced back to my email in error, so just beware there’s no one at the other end of this app once they’ve got your money. I’m guessing they want you to keep paying for any additional features, so at best the service is not as described. I’ve reported the app and requested a refund from Apple.
