G-SHOCK MOVE 12+

As mentioned in other review this app at present cannot track activities other than runs. However something I have made massive use of and have been loving since 2021 is the ability for the app to build you a running program based on your goals and track progress and deliver feedback. I have recently purchased a GBD-H2000 and was disappointed to discover this watch isn’t compatible with this app and I will no longer be able to utilise the running program feature. I’m my opinion that is a MASSIVE regression for the GBD-H2000 and will be returning it until Casio/G Shock address this issue by adding the compatibility with this app.

The MOVE app certainly makes setting the watch (I have a GBD200) a lot easier and while others have many complaints I really only have the one.

I’d like to be able to categorise an activity afterwards.

I like to walk and dabble with a bit of running and it would be nice track how far I’ve been on bikes or dog walks, while separately keeping track of my weekly running.

But you can only track an activity and not distinguish. So if you want to records walks and runs, your average pace will be skewed and of course you won’t be able to sort them.

There are a few other niggles but this is by far the easiest and simplest fix that CASIO could do for me and it would make it more useful.

Forgot to add there needs to be a way to scroll through the tides hours on a given day like I can on the Gulfman, on that watch it’s great as you can click through hour by hour to see what the tide will be later that day so you can plan your activities, on this app and the GBX-100 it only shows the current tide (which is massively inaccurate) and no way of knowing what the tide will be later, it’s crazy because this MIP display has got so much information but it’s actually much less information than my Gulfman because it’s either inaccurate, unadjustable or cannot show future tides so it’s all pointless, please please Casio sort this out.
