Helps me study

Seems silly but really helps my motivation to study, I recommend it to any of my friends, it’s really helped me out a lot, I’m generally really bad at focusing and very good at procrastinating, but this turns my studying into a game and I wanna see my plants grow. It’s too easy at first for long periods of studying but it soon picks up an now for some plants I’ll have to study 2 hours to fully water them so it encourages me to get a lot done each day, great idea :) you could probably also use it for chores and housework and anything else you don’t like doing as you can change the category your study period is on. It also limits you a bit and you can’t just have 20 plants on the go so prevents you from overworking as well, and if you go over you can build up your raindrops to use later. Helps me stay off my phone and tablet because I hate cheating, so even if my phone is right next to me I won’t go on it, wish I had discovered this app earlier, love it.

Really cute and helpful app but...

I’ve been using Focus Plant for about a year now and it’s really good. I definitely recommend this for people who can’t concentrate, get distracted, etc...
I do have a few tweaks to make it a bit more friendlier and easier.

1. On groups, you can’t search for a specific group name and even though there are invites, I think some people may want to find the name of a group to be in because they want to have that extra connection to it.
2. So, when you want to friend someone, make a group, use a certain method, you need to do some tasks before getting it (planting more plants). Although this is motivating, it takes kinda long to be honest. I think it should be much simpler. Like you could reduce the amount of plants?
3. I think there should be a to-do list so that we can, with the tags, link them up and make it more organised and fun to study or whatever people are trying to focus on.
4. I think the screen/home space should be less cluttered. I press everywhere and 90% of the screen is just buttons. Maybe the four tabs on the top could be combined?

Anyway, I really enjoy this app and I hope other people will too. It’s really effective and really cute ☺️

It’s weird but I love it

As a procrastinator I tend to focus on the little things and get distracted by my phone a lot. Now I’m always thinking, ‘if I disturb my phone now I’m not going to be able to water my plants or plant a tree’ it keeps me stuck in doing something other than constantly being on my phone such as reading, studying, drawing or just chilling. Its so effective as you want to plant more plants but in order to do that you must spend time off your phone. It doesn’t deplete battery life when active, encourages you with notifications and has a very addictive art style, love it.
