I often sit in a coffee shop for the entire afternoon, but the coffee shop is really too noisy. I wish there was another kind of pleasant white noise that would allow me to put on headphones and ignore the surrounding clamor.
Sometimes, when I'm preparing to sleep in a quiet room, the sheer silence makes me a little anxious. I want to fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves, ASMR, or rain, but as I'm about to drift off, my ears gradually find these sounds too loud. It would be great to have white noise with gradually decreasing volume!
This led to the creation of Benect.
This is a free app that you can use to listen to:
- Nature sounds: ocean waves, rain, bonfire, lightning, insects, rivers.
- Human and nature interaction: temple bells, street wandering, coffee shop noise.
- White noise: typewriters, temple bells, wooden fish knocking.
- Music: soothing lazy jazz, Bach.
Moreover, you can mix and match these sounds as you like.
I hope it can help you work and sleep more efficiently.
