Best app
We love it, all 4 of us are using it. Great for listening comprehension, reading, translation practice and pinyin. We’ve noticed three minor issues so far. When we log in with each of our account on different devices (eg iPad or iPhone) the streak and articles read does not carry across frustratingly (I would expect it to follow account not device) 😰 also dictation requires very exact handwriting (Skritter gives more leeway re exact length of strokes) so sometimes need to repeat many times. Some of the pinyin also seems a little odd in tone.

Hi, happy to hear that you like our app! We will have an update coming out tomorrow, which will make the handwriting exercises much more comfortable to complete, while still ensuring correctness. We would love to hear what you think of the change, so feel free to write your thoughts, e.g., through our in-app support system. For the syncing of data between devices, then it is true that there is some lag between syncs. I have noted down that this could be an area of improvement. For the pinyin part, then we would very much like to hear which pinyin you found strange. Please feel free to write us in the in-app support system or at contact@dotlanguages.com. Thank you for your feedback! I’d like to clarify that all HSK levels, including HSK 7-9, are completely free to access in our app as part of our learning path. You can enjoy all the content in these levels without any cost.
Only our most recent lessons that are published require a paid subscription, as they are part of our premium offering to support ongoing development and updates.
