Poor version..

If someone has this on their phone and is tempted to buy don't bother. The dimensions of the iPad screen are different to an iPhone, and instead of changing the levels to suit the iPad, the old levels have been plonked in, leaving a bar on either side with no jumping blocks: check it out on you tube.

The result is that jumping thought the screen becomes much harder, especially when avoiding black holes. It's also very difficult to shoot directionally due to the size of the screen.

If you don't have it on your phone, then perhaps it is a good app, but for me, it's an iPhone app which has lazily been grafted onto the iPad.

I have various versions of Doodle Jump on my iPhone and enjoy them all. Initially, they are very addictive and deserve the positive comments. However, you do get bored having to start from the beginning every time. Perhaps changing the game into stages might be an improvement.
IPad version is the same basic setup. Disappointed to find that there is only one stage. The iPhone version currently has nine and more are added periodically.
Surprisingly, it is slightly more difficult to play on the iPad and feels cumbersome. This is probably due to the size of the pad and not a game issue.
I would have liked to see AirPlay capability and possibly multi-player. Perhaps in the future......
