The app has improved from what it was, but is still horrendously slow on start up. It’s also poor at offering assistance with other DHL tracking numbers considering the vast amount of sending/tracking options they have.

Consolidation of tracking would be better because the number of different services looks like they have far too many legacy systems that can’t talk to each other.

DHL’s tracking system is designed only to show delivery to their major depositories like Heathrow airport. This makes it impossible to see where your parcel is either online or through their ap. Their GPS system also doesn’t work so they can’t track their drivers movements. I recently ordered from a shop that used DHL as their courier. My package was delivered to a completely different block of flats than mine to some other address and they have posted a photo of someone at that address which they can’t identify with an open door as proof the package was delivered to me. It’s been two weeks since that delivery occurred to the wrong person. Despite them saying they would investigate there has been no resolution because they can’t find the package. Customer service is also poor. They told me if they were unable to find the package after 3 days they would initiate an insurance claim for a refund but they haven’t taken any action to resolve this and it’s been more than 5 days. Choose any other shipping method than DHL if you can when ordering goods

I know it’s normal to just tick every box that appears when you install a new app, but on this occasion I decided to just glance through the EULA before agreeing to it. So

FAO: DHL TECHNICAL TEAM (this may also be relevant to your legal department)

I couldn’t help but notice §8 (especially as it’s subtitled in *bold*) reads TERMATION, while it’s abundantly clear from the typo and the context that this is a misspelling of TERMINATION. But of course, I’m *not* going to pretend like because it’s a legal agreement, a simple typo invalidates the whole thing since the error and the intended meaning are very obvious. Also, I wouldn’t be reporting this publicly if it was a major bug - that’d be irresponsible. Just letting you know you might want to correct it as it doesn’t look too professional and DHL is a multinational household name. Btw, the app itself is absolutely fine. Very handy to authorise delivery without a signature bc I’m disabled and can’t get to the door very quickly, so thanks for the option. That’s all.
