GETTING STARTED:
You must be an existing Cumberland Internet Banking customer to use the app and have previously registered your mobile phone number with us.
To get set up, you need to complete the following steps:
- Download the app and select 'Register' from the main menu
- Read and accept the Terms and Conditions
- Enter your Internet Banking Customer Number and Access Code
- We'll then send you a security code to the mobile phone number you have registered with us. Enter the code to verify your device.
- Finally, you'll be asked to choose and confirm a 5 digit passcode to enter each time you log on. You can also set up Touch ID or Face ID on compatible devices.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
We will not charge you to use our Mobile Banking app, although use may incur data use charges from your network provider.
As well as iPhone, the app is compatible with but not optimised for iPads.

What’s New
Version 2.2407.6
In this new version, we’ll send you in-app notifications with useful information about planned maintenance, service issues, holiday opening times and more. You can now update your alert preferences and contact details straight from the app. We’ve also updated the account information to include any arranged overdraft limits and interest rates on savings accounts. To help us improve the app you'll notice a new data consent. Agreeing to this will mean we can gather information about our app and how it is performing. No personal information will be recorded, you can read more about this in the privacy notice on our website.

Fabulous app
An essential app if you are a Cumberland customer; I use it daily to check balances, make internal transfers and to send money (although you need to set up any new payees from a desktop first). It’s also great for sending messages to the bank and notifying them when you wish to use your debit cards when traveling abroad. Heartily recommended.
Essential for Cumberland customers
If you’re a Cumberland account customer this app is an absolute must. I pay my bills and transfer money to different accounts from it all the time. Also helps me keep track of my spends and view my estatements. Never had one problem with it, brilliant.
Still useless - try a better banking app
This version of app is the same as the old version with a new look
Just tried to set up a standing order but can’t - I can make a single payment this Friday and have to do that manually coz there’s no option to send every week or month like other better banking apps.
I already have a standing order set up I’m just wanting to increase the amount it won’t let you do that either.
Only thing it’s good for is checking your balance and telling them when you’re abroad so your card still works
Please give us a banking app that is fit for purpose during a pandemic - I shouldn’t have to roll out the laptop or telephone or have to go into branch whenever I want to manage a standing order when I have the app in my hand. And please don’t roll out any excuses when every other banking app seems to be capable of this.
