Cribbage Pegboard 4+

I’ve been playing cribbage for many years, and not many apps could get the pleasure of moving those pegs from point to point (which I consider to be soo much of the appeal of the physical game)

Whilst the digital format is, of course, suboptimal, this app gives me some of the same joy which I felt in my youth.

I will say, it is sometimes challenging to select the right peg to move, but this is perhaps unavoidable on such a small board.

To conclude, it’s a great product and I would recommend it to anyone who is getting into cribbage and can’t afford a board, or simply for those like me, who do not always have a board on hand.

Scoring system is great, allows for a lot of history for ongoing rivalries which is fun when you haven’t played for a while then realise you’re winning in games! :-) really easy to use although can be hard picking out the right back marker when playing three player. One thing this desperately needs is a back button for undoing errors. Too often dragged the front peg not remembering whether on 1 or 2 points was scored previously. Maybe going back 2-3 scores is all it needs to be perfect.

Handy if you left your board at home. Undo function would be very useful for current go (easy to move the wrong person’s peg when not paying proper attention) and “peg history” markers for scored positions up to current point from start too would be handy.

One small bug-let: final score is not updated before “update rivalry board” question is asked. Pretty decent stab. Would be VERY Happy to pay a small amount to get rid of the irritating Google ads though.
