Has great potential

So far, into the 3rd season and the game is quite highly addictive and fun to play. Only real gripes is that the dribbling function is incredibly clunky, I find that regularly my player will kick the ball in the complete opposite direction than what I input even with high 70s dribbling stats, as well as finding it impossible to completely change direction without either kicking the ball away or leaving the ball completely and having to wander off instead of just…controlling the ball and turning direction. Another thing is the goalkeeper speed…my god the goalkeeper speed. I’m at Fiorentina and haven’t scored a single goal in week 11 with 74 rated shot speed and 71 rated shot accuracy. Goalkeepers move at the speed of light and make it practically impossible to score goals no matter where I attempt to shoot from. Apart from these things that can be improved in my opinion, really good game.

Add on: Season 5 and now part of the England international team. Average rating is 87, higher than my 82 rated Leicester City team, however when playing international matches, my teammates perform at a much lower level. Teammates are incredibly slow, shot power is incredibly low and all the while opposing teams perform at expected difficulty levels. I think it might be a bug or something that causes your ‘first season in the international team’ = ‘first season of being in the lower leagues’ level of competition or something 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great! Just one or two issues…

Overall I really enjoy playing this game. However one of the two issues I mentioned in the title is the passing. The AI’s ability to pass and shoot should ultimately be better. The second problem is a minor one, but it’s still there. Sometimes when you score, it counts as an assist, and when you score it sometimes counts as an assist. This can be very annoying when trying to get transferred to another club by completing the objectives provided. Thanks for reading.

Rubbish

Never left a review before but this game is a horrid exception (lost possession) in 90% of penalty kicks even when you click shoot before or as you kick the ball…. Teammates pass as if they are in a vegative state and haven’t passed a ball except in the Paralympic’s, the whole angle system of passing the ball as you are looking and aiming to a tm on the right, he (being the dribbling syndrome that is your player) passes it in the opposite direction. Opponent keepers jump around as if they are auditioning for dancing on ice (more like star in a reasonably priced car) I’ve seen a better excuse for a football game on a GameBoy and this is a 2024 game. To the developers of this game. If anyone ever asks you again “a penny for your thoughts” here’s some advice, Sell.
