Description
The ClearWaste app makes it easy to report fly-tipping to the appropriate local authority anywhere in the UK – and it helps consumers get rid of their rubbish using government licenced waste removal companies, safe in the knowledge that it won't be fly-tipped and for the best possible price.
The app uses the latest in mapping technology to pinpoint and document the precise location of the waste and sends a report with photographs and details straight to the relevant council or registered landowner.
From the start, we wanted to ensure that reports could be made speedily and we've done that. A fly-tipping report can be created with images and submitted in around 60 seconds. Alerts go straight to councils who can then clear up the rubbish.
Every report provides information that will help track and catch fly-tippers and there's also a national fly-tipper reporting function to help track down and prosecute offenders.
For people wanting to get rid of rubbish the app also has a unique price comparison tool for consumers to find and use legitimate and licenced waste removal companies, avoiding rogue traders who often fly-tip waste, leaving the householder open to fines or prosecution.

Fly tipping patrol
Whenever we are out walking we report fly tips to ClearWaste. They are quick to report them to the respective council authority as our walking trips cover several different councils. Shame the councils don’t react as quickly especially Winchester. One tip reported two weeks ago has been spread over a larger area rather than being picked up.
Very Easy to Use
I like the app it’s very easy to use and quick to report fly tipping or general rubbish wherever you find it the big plus is that you can report it without trying to find the contact information for the local council.
Could be better
App is quite slow and clunky. Apple doesn’t save the credentials under the keychain feature for some reason and also there’s no way to save the credentials manually also. So if you’ve not signed in for a week or so you will be signed out and have to manually type in your email and password which is a bit annoying.
