Frustrating
Castle Age itself is an enjoyable game, I have been playing since its launch on Facebook. However, the app is fraught with glitches.
Currently, it’s taking up to 20 minutes to load the home page, even then it doesn’t always load properly, which is very frustrating when you are trying to get colosseum points. By the time you get into the battle, the fight has often finished.
This has lead me to play on the full site, which is not exactly a good experience on a mobile phone, as the screen is a bit jumpy.
I’m not sure if it is automatically upgrades or not, but when things get as bad as they are now, I usually end up having to re-install the game. Last time I did that however, I lost my account and had to wait weeks to get it back.
Come on, get it sorted, you have known about these problems for years, but even with new developers, it doesn’t seem to have been addressed.
Such a shame, as it spoils what is an otherwise enjoyable game.
Continual tripping is ridiculous
I’ve played this game for several years and spent good money on it at times. But the recent enhancements of Colosseum have been a total joke. It is almost impossible to complete any actions as they continually fail and give nonsensical error messages about you tripping whilst trying to attack or not having enough tokens. When less than 1 in 10 actions complete, I definitely have tokens. Other features in the game have been abandoned and left broken. Automatic collection of cash from lands has been broken for ages leaving iPhone players with no way to collect. After many years of tolerating the odd problem with this game I am now giving up and will be deleting the app. The developers already seem to have given up with the latest fixes just bandaids to try and squeeze more money out of the dying cash cow. You can’t even raise a support ticket using the in app feature as it’s broken.
Support is terrible
I’ve played the game for many years. The number of bugs seems to increase on a regular basis. Including lost purchases, missing rewards, crashing. .... try getting any support at all. No chance. I still play but will not spend at all now. It took a month to get a refund via Apple!! At least they assisted. GAEA NO INTEREST !!
