Good for artists!!

I found that so far this seems to be an extremely safe place for artists to share art and curate their posts, you can build a portfolio with art you think is your best and you can still post silly doodles separate! I found that a lot of the users are hoping over from insta to escape the ai, so ig id like to see some thing change to the ease of using insta, for example I found that the load time of likes and pics can be slow to do (that might just be my internet tho) I also found that trying to refresh the ‘latest’ page doesn’t really happen, and there’s no scroll feature where you can just scroll through posts in latest so you have to click on posts separately which is annoying. Excited to see this platform develop into a really functional, fun place for artists to do their thing without the threat of ai! :3

Decent

I haven’t been able to go on it much but so far my impression has been decent. The app looks a little boring but the algorithm already works great and the app is pretty easy to use. A huge problem I have with new apps is that it’s hard to really gain a following. However, there seems to be a lot of people heading to this app as I already see a lot of growth in the users the past three or so days I’ve known of the app.
Some problems I did find however was that there is a lack of customization for profiles and sometimes the profile picture won’t save :(
I can see myself using this more in the future if it continues to grow and improve though

great app for artists

thank you for creating such a good platform for artists, it really feels like a new breath to interact with human artists only. it’s an ambitious project and i respect everything the team has done, but as if for now it still is rough around the edges.

first of all, manual scroll to update my feed/profile. the app is really missing auto update functionality, especially when checking your notifications or home page.

secondly, quite bland home page. i just don’t see new posts recommended for me. even after reopening the app, posts from other people cycle through the same 4-5 posts from a day ago.
even though i really like the idea of ‘home feed settings’ button, where you can manually adjust the percentage of posts you’d like to see more/less, it simply doesn’t work for me as intended (still stuck with the same 4-5 posts). but i truly think it’s a very useful feature.

another thing i’d like to mention is absence of ‘comments’ section in my notifications hub. i assume ‘mentions’ is what works here as a comment section, but it usually doesn’t list comments in my profile. it would be really handy to have them separated from other notifications, since comments can be lost in the amount of like notifications.

overall i think it’s a great app and a resource for artists. more people should try it out and support. there’s still room for growth and i can’t wait to see what it turns into. thank you!
