The social network for artists. Artfol is made for artists, focused on showcasing artwork and supporting any and all artists. Open to all forms of visual art, Artfol provides tools which give you full control of your Artfol experience; from customising your profile and gallery to resharing your favorite artwork! Users can engage in discussions on the Community tab, browse art from the Discover page and converse with others through private messaging.
Key Features:
Discoverability
• We are bringing back chronological feeds! Never miss when users post, as the posts on your feed will be kept in the order of when they were posted.
• Our algorithms are weighed on recentness, this means that every artist (both big and small) will have an equal chance of having their posts seen.
• Engage with the community; participating in challenges and answering questions are great ways to get exposure!
Community Challenges
• Browse existing challenges through the dedicated challenge tab
• Participate in existing challenges
• Start your own challenge, set a deadline and select winners once it is over
• Browse challenge submissions through the submission tab
Customisable Profiles
• Customise your gallery by selecting which artwork to show people when they first visit your profile!
• Upload your own profile picture and banner
• Choose a theme colour for your profile
• Write an intro which will show up below your username
• Choose to add a commission tab to show others you are open to commissions!
Groups
• Find and join communities of likeminded artists and individuals
• Create your own group to meet others with similar interests
• Participate in group challenges and events
• Start discussions and post art in a private space within Artfol
Resharing Art
• Reshare your favorite artwork from other artists!
• Users will be able to like the original artwork through reshares
Collections
• Categorize your own art into easy to view collections, such as comics, original characters or more
• Use collections to bookmark challenges, or save artwork from others
• Set your collections to private if you want to keep it to yourself, or public if you want to share it with others
• Choose to display your collections in either a single column layout or a double column layout
Post and Browse Text Posts
• Make text posts to interact with your followers
• Browse other text posts through the community tab
• Browse questions asked by the community through the question tab or ask your own questions
Non-Artist Accounts
• If you are not an artist but still would like to browse the app, make a non-artist account!
• Get access to all the content on the platform
• Have the ability to make text posts as well as comment on posts and reply to comments

If you’re an artist, you need this app!
- There’s no algorithms to fight, it’s all chronological order.
- You can do both text and picture posts.
- Likes are hidden (but still viewable after a few extra clicks
- Reshares give the original post the likes
I’ve been waiting for an app like this for ages as I don’t enjoy using DeviantART and IG is too much of a battleground. I’m so happy the developers listen to what artists want and I’m super happy that you’ve made it a relaxing place to post. No more worrying about when’s the best time or if that post will give traction. We can finally relax! Thank you so much for making an art home I enjoy. The only reason I’ve given it 4 star and not 5 is because of the lag issues (which is to be expected when you’re a small team and everyone is jumping on board at once).
I’m hoping this does well! I also can’t wait for the web version to come out too C:

Great app for artists!
Artfol is a lovely place for any kind of artist, whether you’re an illustrator, comic artist, cosplayer, photographer etc, anyone is welcome to post what they create and there’s a lovely sense of community on this app.
Troll accounts typically get taken down the same day they’re discovered which means the community stays a nice place to be, and everyone is very helpful and friendly! Although if you’re looking for criticism, there’s a critique section so people can give you constructive advice on your art!
All in all it’s a lovely place to make artist friends.
I would advise you not to come to Artfol just for reach, as it’s quite a small and tight knit community so that’s likely not going to happen. I only say this because I see a lot of people complain about not getting much reach, when Artfol is really for interacting with other artists, not gaining followers.
It’s a great place to make friends and share your art without fear of people not liking it, there’s a crowd for everyone and there’s no algorithm so all posts show up chronologically in your feed :)

Very nice for artsits and non-artists
I really enjoy using this and making friends on here, it’s really fun and easy :D
I like being able to make my posts not show on my gallery too, very nice for cleaning the gallery. The challenges are cool and the whole interface is just great :))
However, I wish we could have an option for one time payment at some point for the prisma option that’s all :> but overall it’s still really good 👍
