The app requires a separate ELM Wifi OBD2 adapter (ELM327 compatible scan tool) or Kiwi 3, OBDLink MX+, Carista, Vgate, LELink, Viecar, Tonwon, Veepeak, MicroTech or UniCarScan Bluetooth Low Energy adapter to communicate with the car. Plug the ELM 327 compatible scan tool into the car's diagnostics port, and make sure you are ready for car inspection. We recommend avoiding the cheap clone ELM devices and using genuine ELM327 adapters.
NOTE: Most app features require your car to support them. This app can't show information that your vehicle doesn't provide.

Life saver!
I work for a car logistics company and this app along with the OBD reading device has been an absolute lifesaver!!! It’s the difference between being stuck on the hard shoulder waiting for up to 2/3 hours for recovery and affecting your entire days schedule or simply resetting the EML light, temporarily or in some of my experiences permanently clearing the fault and continuing to you destination.
Subscription not recognised every time I use this it’s trouble
I have paid for this and it very occasionally works,,,
Plug it it, won’t connect even though all the lights light up,,,
Repeat 10 times if you have the time
Yes connected,,,,,
Then suddenly you are now on the free plan,,,,,
You check , yes it’s paid up every month ,,,,
You follow advice ,,,,
Magically the download will be the pro version allowing me to switch off stupid alarm on fuel system that clears itself usually,,,
No chance I am stuck with free version, and that 4 hours of my life I will never get back....
Tired of fighting banks data harvesting con men, and technology that simply glitches all the time,,,
I have videos and witnesses which all end up with a sharp inhaling of breath from all concerned ,,,,,

Disappointed
I’d already paid for the full version, and I’ve always kept it updated, I tried reading a Mercedes Sprinter and it connects fine but many functions are not available, auto doctor offered me another up grade subscription either a yearly or monthly, so thinking this would give me access to functions not available I subscribed to the monthly option, and guess what doesn’t give me any more options or functions than I already had
Total waste of money.
Auto Doctors response didn’t address the issue of of offering an upgrade which I subscribed too only to find it no different to the full version I’d already paid for. Their response was the vehicle doesn’t have an OBDII port, but it does 🤔

I'm sorry for your experience. OBD2 is only for passenger cars. Sprinter is not a passenger car and it doesn't have OBD2. Having a similar port doesn't mean anything. That's why it doesn't provide the info.
