BroadLink 4+

Generally I am very happy with the control functions of this app using IR, RF and voice control via Alexa. I would however give a five star review if it were possible to customise the various screens by button colour, shape and layout. I am sure this would be a relatively simple upgrade and would give much sharper and more aesthetically pleasing appearance to the app. I feel this improvement in appearance would also improve uptake of both the app and hardware by prospective customers viewing your online tutorials compared to the current boring and old fashioned black and white layouts.

Great piece of kit Works perfectly. I only brought this BroadLink RM4 pro for our movie night. When setting up my living room for our family movie night, I had a mix of 5 separate IR and RF remotes to use to turn everything on/off ready to play movies (through my pc). I get the movie ready to play on my PC and then I now say “Hey Google activate movie night” and it all happens.... The TV turns off, projector screen comes down, projector turns on, speaker system turns on, screen stops at exact spot, side lamp turns off and 10 seconds later the main lights turn off. Perfect. When movie has finished “Hey Google movie night finished”.... lights come on, projector turns off, screen goes up, sound system off, tv and soundbar back on. Brilliant. Took some time to set up but it was worth it in the end. Some advice when you set up your scene in this app, add a 1 or 2 second delay after each action and maybe 10 seconds for your lights to go off so you can see what your doing !! Very pleased customer.

Literally spent a fortune on Harmony Hubs and remotes, complete waste of time and money. They are difficult to set up, horrible to try and integrate with Alexa and massively overpriced. Once they announced they would stop making them everything just stopped working??

In the market for something new and saw a few reviews on theses, for the price i was sceptical but also intrigued. Honest opinion, the best money i’ve spent in my SmartHome. They make the Logitech Harmony remotes look silly. They are neat, very easy to use and Alexa integration is amazing. A real eye opener for me that you don’t have to spend a fortune to get s top quality product. Not
only will i be buying more for me, i’ll also be buying them as gifts and recommending them to anyone that will listen
