Blue Letter Bible 4+

I found this app after the Holy Spirit came into my life and has been guiding me over the last 4 years. I find the recorded sermons and teachings helpful. It is dated but some truths hold no time and God will always lead you to his understanding for you. If you found your way here give it a try. It is important to stay in the word. Especially if for whatever reason you have no or little connection to other people of faith. Stay blessed brothers and sisters.

The overall app is estimable and easy to use when you understand it. What makes this app great is the fact it has a strongs concordance and bible lexicon. For the past 3-4 years, I've used it for apologetics, street ministry, talking one-on-one with people and showing them biblical truths to their questions and Greek original meaning and context. I also use it for personal study when I read.

The only annoyance I have with the app is that it looks like it's from 2000, it’s outdated, it needs better animations and smothers transitions, and there must be a way to hide the bottom dock or remove it because it is clunk... at least you can customise how it looks. Still, I wish there was an option to remove some tools and UI that I don’t care to use, or when I scroll, they fade out or something. UI-wise, compared to other bible apps, they are significantly behind, but in tools, no bible app has this type of sophistication.

It would be a 5 star if they went to the drawing board and cleaned out some dated things or created a new interface while also keeping some valuable features— make it more visually appealing to use, and seamless, allowing more customisations like removing tools on bottom toolbars or removing them completely, and smother transition, but generally, they update their apps frequently, but we need more than just new translations of bibles BLB

I use this most for the Bible in a year function. There are seven different patterns you can choose from. I'm really enjoying reading it chronologically. And every day there is a box to tick when you are done!
I love the highlights that you can set yourself and the colour scheme so you can change the background and make it friendlier on the eye (great for dyslexic people)
Change font size as well.
Write your own notes against specific verses.
There are a load of other teaching notes available too I think (I don't use these very often but have used and found useful).
Can be used online and offline
Only downside is more versions of the Bible are available when it's online, so if you like to use the NIV all the time you can't if you are in a field with no internet.
Otherwise it's awesome.
