This is perfect! But know your needs
If you want something to write your notes and then keep them there is a device already for that - you are holding it in your hands right now. And it costs 15x Blackboard price.
Blackboard has a different purpose. No more scrap paper, no more draft paper with ideas, even our coach uses it for game strategies. Blackboard is really amazing for quick notes, brainstorming, practising drawing perspectives (at least that’s what my family uses it for). Got 4 devices for my family and it replaced ton on paper in my house. Only downside of the Blackboard is the eraser. Doesn’t work. As an engineer I see it’s not an easy problem to solve though.
Regarding the app itself:
1. Registration is annoying and should be optional
2. Psychedelic background is a no
3. App crashed a few times
4. That green rectangle to capture boundaries is not intuitive. Took me a while to understand it’s purpose. It’s not needed in my opinion because in 99% cases you will be taking pictures up close
5. I wish pictures taken with the app would be available in the phone gallery.

Rubbish really
All the app does is take a photo of your board. I had assumed it had a Bluetooth connection but no, it's a photo and nothing more.
O, the app allows you to annotate the photo but so what?
