• Ride details available include a route map, lap information, and minimum and maximum points for all collected data values.

• With BikeSmart's interactive ride chart you can see elevation, heart rate, speed, and distance at any point along your route.

• You can also view your personal best rides including fastest, longest, fastest average speed, highest ascent and most calories burned.

• BikeSmart is also a very easy way to share your activities with your friends via Facebook, email, Twitter or text message.

• BikeSmart pairs with any Garmin Connect™ account. Upload your ride data from your device to your Garmin Connect™ account and then use BikeSmart to see all your activities on your mobile device.

• To display some values in BikeSmart, such as GPS location data, heart rate, elevation, cadence and power values, you will need a data collection device such as the Garmin Edge 500, 510, 810 or a similar device that collects this data. You can collect your data anyway you prefer then view it easily with BikeSmart.

Nice training log for Garmin users

This is a well designed app, with a very clean iOS friendly interface. It is highly intuitive, so setting up and navigating around are easy. The ride details are nicely presented, and the summary data well tabulated and charted. I much prefer it to the other iOS training logs in the App Store so far, some of which look like Windows refugees! However, I would have expected to see Avg and Max HR in the activity list at least, and maybe also Avg and Max Pwr or Normalised Pwr. Also, it is absolutely for Garmin users only, and you need a Garmin Connect account to sync to the app. I would really like a setting to allow me to download the map data on sync, even though this would be slower, as it currently downloads only when the map view is selected for an activity, so is not available offline unless you happened to have already looked at it. Lastly, its an iPhone app at present, and though it's acceptable on an iPad in landscape view at 2x, it of course doesn't use all or make the best of the bigger screen. I do like it though, and hope it will be developed further - worth a buy already in my opinion, especially if you want your data on a phone rather than an iPad.
