Best Movie Subscription!
Most streaming services just aren’t worth the price, having only one or two things on them that are worth watching. I could happily watch pretty much all of what’s on the Arrow Player. There are also suggestions from cult directors that make for excellent binge watches. Everything is carefully curated with plenty of extras, interviews and an entertaining podcast that rounds out the package. A movie lovers dream and highly recommended.
Fantastic
Not to be weird, although I guess arrow invites it. But this is such a fantastic collection of content. Usually I browse Netflix or others and can’t decide what to watch so watch nothing. Nothing really grabs me.
With arrow every other thing I click on grabs me. Crazy shorts, classic horror, new exclusive releases with real soul, foreign language films I’ve never heard of but are now all time favourites. Yes yes yes!
Video quality is good. Customer service is good. The way videos kinda auto play in app and you just make full screen is really good. I genuinely hope this is a success. Well done guys you should be proud!
Could I complain about a lack of atmos, Dolby vision and 4k? Maybe. But that would be very much missing the point I think.
Awesome content. Sporadic UI
I’m a genre fan, that makes Arrow my favourite option of its kind in the UK. Selection suits me better than Shudder. There is minor overlap between them but the difference feels to me like: Arrow has better world cinema (Genre and beyond) and pre-2000s, Shudder seems far more American and recent American indie genre stuff.
Arrow does sometimes act like a film I’ve finished is only halfway through, also sometimes when I come back to film I have started, it loses my place
