Another Wobbly Charging App
What is it about EV Charging apps and poor implementation? Here’s another one with silly, avoidable bugs. Like not being able to edit where it lands on your home screen without it making a second instance of the app. Like asking for data about your vehicle based on a pick list but not having a complete pick list of EVs. Mine (hardly an unpopular MG model) is missing. Etc …
I use this app to get invoices for accounts and because the app discounts the price charged for electricity. If it wasn’t for those two benefits I wouldn’t be using the app at all.
Charging providers need to start paying developers for decent apps.
One of the worst
Probably one of the worst EV Charging network applications. Not only is the UI really poor, the UX is atrocious. Too many steps and required fields that are useless such as the model of the car, which in my case isn’t even listed in the app. Furthermore, the only payment option is a credit card - no Apple Pay or PayPal. And then there is a cryptic error message about my payment not being accepted. Plenty of money on my account so no idea if they simply don’t accept my card. No explanation whatsoever. As we all know, the number 1 rule of UX is to ensure great user communication. Appalling app!
What’s my data for??
Why does this app, if you create an account, require my name, address, date of birth, car details, car registration (although this is optional). They do NOT NEED THIS DATA for me to change my car. Either EXPLAIN IN FULL why this data is required, or STOP ASKING FOR IT. I’d recommend that no one gives them any data at all, or simply make it up and lie. When did you last need to provide your home address and date of birth to put petrol in your car????
