Don’t bother

Can’t get anywhere with creating an account… spent 40 minutes and can’t autofill any of the details. Must have typed my email 20 times. Just don’t bother or you will scream!

Useless app

If you can’t even create an account- you can’t use the app. Utterly useless. Same problem as all the other one star reviews. Very frustrated.

App Doesn’t Function Properly

First let me say that the ADO Air 28 bike has the potential to be one of the most awesome city commuter e-bikes on the market for women who want the dutch bike style and elegance, but need a bit of oomph and speed over and above what you get on ebikes that are supposed to be superior brands. The build is great, the style is fab for us females and the little funky bits like the light coming on automatically when it’s dark and going off automatically when it’s bright enough are absolutely genius…however, the app is just awful, if I could have given it no stars I would!

I bought a throttle for my bike as I suffer with chronic knee pain and needed that boost when cycling headwind along our local busway (it’s always headwind along there which I still can’t understand!) but having fitted the throttle by following the video, all my settings in engineering mode have been knocked out, and cannot be reinstated. The throttle itself is ok, although it feels a LOT slower than the max 20mph it allows me to go. I measured the speed today by cycling by pedal assist along the busway at approx 18mph and it took me 8 minutes, on the way home I only used the throttle at allegedly 20mph and it took 9 mins 20 secs which makes no sense to me especially as it was a rare tailwind as well!

The app NEVER remembers my bike and I have to re-connect it every morning, I put my phone in my bag and when I get to work 3+ miles later, apparently I have travelled 0 miles.

I was told once I’d fitted the throttle my bike should be put into hybrid mode and I was shown a screenshot of what my engineering settings should be, however mine are all now 0 and every time I change it on the app to hybrid mode, it forgets it as soon as my phone locks.

I have no idea how I change these settings so it actually remembers my bike, my chosen settings or even how I get my settings back now!

The customer service was great…until my bike was bought, at which point I’m now waiting hours, and hours, and hours, and hours for responses to these issues.

I get that the company is Chinese and there’s a +8 hours time difference, but it feels like now they have my money, they don’t care to sort out these basic issues for me that it seems everyone is having.

I can see that the complaints about the app have been ongoing for over a year, yet nothing has changed!

Why is having an app that connects automatically to your bike once you have set everything up, that remembers you, your settings and your chosen power mode, that is able to see when you use the bike and retain the mileage information etc seemingly so hard when it should be so simple?
My NIU electric moped app is able to do it and doesn’t require me to enter everything every time I open the app, so why can’t this app work the same way?

At the moment, I am so disappointed which is a real shame as I was so excited to get my bike.
