Île-de-France Mobilités is here to assist you daily. Purchase a digital ticket, recharge your Navigo pass, search for routes including trains, RERs, metros, trams, buses, coaches, bicycles, Vélib', car-sharing, or car rentals. Find schedules in real-time or traffic information... Discover essential tools and information for organizing your travels in Île-de-France. Together, let's travel with ease.
Avoid queues at stations: buy your transport tickets from your iPhone!
The following tickets are available for purchase:
- Metro-Train tickets or Bus-Tram Ticket
- One Way from/to Airports (you cannot purchase this ticket if you already have a Metro-Train Ticket charged on your device)
- Navigo daily (this fare doesn’t permit you to go to airports), weekly, or monthly passes
- Special fares (Anti-pollution pass, Paris-Visit Passes etc.)
- Daily Vélib’ passes
Purchased tickets can then be (depending on the chosen purchasing path):
- Stored on the iPhone and validated directly at stations (from iPhone Xr and iOS 17.5)
- Loaded onto your Navigo pass (from an iPhone 7, with at least iOS 13. iPhone XR and XS are compatible starting from iOS 14.5)
For compatible tickets (Metro-Train and Bus-Tram Tickets, Navigo Day passes, special fares), no account is needed, and you can pay directly with Apple Pay!
You can prepare and plan your travels:
- Find nearby bus stops, train stations, and metro stations
- Search for real-time public transport routes, car-sharing, and bicycle routes
- Save upcoming trips in your phone’s calendar
- Check the next departures for your lines in real-time and all the timetable information
- View maps of public transport networks (accessible even offline)
- Follow pedestrian routes for walking segment
Stay informed and anticipate disruptions:
- Check your lines’ Twitter feed for real-time traffic updates
- Get alerts for disruptions on your favorite lines and routes
- Stay updated on the status of elevators in the stations you use
Customize your travel:
- Save your destinations (work, home, gym, etc.), stations, and stops as favorites
- Customize your profile (fast walker, with difficulties, reduced mobility, etc.)
- Select lines or stations to avoid
Prefer soft or alternative modes of transport:
- Book car-sharing and/or ride-sharing trips in partnership with leading providers
- Opt for bicycle routes for all your trips
- Rent a car or a van for a short period by choosing a Communauto car-sharing vehicle from a wide selection of stations around you and book it immediately for the duration of your choice.

A great app for finding your way around Paris
We used the app for a day trip to Paris from the outskirts.
Once you’ve registered, we purchased the Paris 2024 pass for one days travel which was excellent; the pass could be easily found in my Apple wallet.
The app was great for finding our way around the transport system and was very accurate. Highly recommended.
Terrible App and Service
I was in Paris with my family these last few days. I needed to buy tickets for both my kids and myself. IMPOSSIBLE! Apparently, once you have a pass activated you cannot add a second on the same phone. Surely, I must be mistaken, they have phone-less kids too. I ask for advice at one of the information desks in a station. The lady says: “don’t use the app, it’s terrible”. I try my luck in a different station: a guy tells me the same thing: I need to use both the app and the machines if I travel with kids! Or buy a phone for the kids. Or only buy paper tickets. I leave puzzled. Eventually I accept this oddity and I try to buy a pass on the app. NO LUCK. Errors like “an error has occurred”, “this service is temporarily unavailable”, “please try again later” pop up no matter what I try (different cards, different times of day, different networks, etc.). I switch to my partner’s phone. 20 minutes later after I go through the whole registration process I face exactly the same problem. Hours of frustration. My watch was signalling that my heart rate is reaching dangerous levels, so I gave up. Queuing to get paper tickets just confirmed my struggle. The number of frustrated tourists was staggering. Some with issues like mine, others who managed to buy the pass on the app, but the barriers would not open. Buying tickets on one’s phone should not be a maddening experience!

Awful app
Once you’ve gone through the hassle of downloading this useless app, you need to be extremely careful in making your selection….as if you choose to buy 1 ticket you will be locked out of the option to buy a second ticket. Incredibly, the system has been designed so that it only allows the user one chance to be able to make one selection (it literally prevents you selecting any other ticket apart from a bus ticket to Orly!) Get it wrong first time and you will be frozen out and unable to buy another ticket (unless you need a bus ticket to Orly!). Incompetent design. I guess I will be stuck at the Stade De France forever! Or I’ll have to walk back after the event. Perhaps it has been designed to only let you buy one ticket oer day, so I’ll wait until tomorrow to see if I can buy a second ticket. Breathtaking incompetence by the programmers. Be wary when making your selection as there’s no going back, amending, modifying or adding.
