Editorial is a plain text editor for iOS with powerful automation tools and a beautiful inline preview for Markdown, TaskPaper, and Fountain documents.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

• Added support for the iPhone X with its native resolution.
• Changed toolbar color in the preview/accessory panel – this makes it easier to distinguish the preview from the editor.
• Improved performance for switching between dark and light mode.
• The accessory panel (preview, in-app browser...) uses the same tab bar UI on iPhone and iPad now.
• Removed support for the public workflow directory. Your shared workflows will remain online for the foreseeable future, but the directory will soon become read-only. You can still share workflows using the "Copy Workflow" feature, of course, which is more flexible anyway, as it allows you to put your workflows in any plain text file.
• Fixed an issue with explanatory text in the settings being displayed incorrectly (particularly on small screens).
• Fixed footnote navigation in Markdown preview.
• Fixed table view actions not being executed in "Custom UI" workflow actions.
• Fixed a few issues with inline boneyard in Fountain documents.

…remarquable…!

Le catalogue des apps iOS propose quelques traitements de texte *markdown* épatants, de *Drafts* à *ia Writer* en passant par *Ulysses*.
*Editorial* est un cas à part, rarement mis à jour (aussi faut-il souligner celle du 7 février 2020 :-) mais d’une richesse ébouriffante.
Si je reste un inconditionnel de *Drafts* au quotidien, j’apprécie l’élégance de *Editorial*, ses propositions de format et son ergonomie.
Bref, entre *Drafts* et *Editorial*, difficile de trancher car codés par deux développeurs de grand talent.
Mais ces deux apps demandent à l’utilisateur de faire un effort (vite récompensé !) car ce ne sont pas produits bureautiques, voire bourrins…
Si vous n’avez nul besoin d’actions un peu …sioux, tournez-vous alors vers *ia Writer* ou *Ulysses*.
Dans tous les cas, pas de risque de se tromper…

Excellent

Un éditeur Markdown remarquable : simple et puissant, mais aussi configurable dans les moindres détails. Je pense notamment aux thèmes de l’éditeur Markdown et des aperçus “HTML”.
Pour un utilisateur souhaitant garder le contrôle de son environnement de travail, c’est l’application parfaite — à un prix très raisonnable.

A faire aimer l'iPad.

Je n'ai jamais aussi bien dépensé mon argent. Cette app est parfaite. Cette app rend intelligent. Cette app me permet d'écrire plus et mieux.
J'étais un peu désarçonné au début, mais dés que j'ai créé tous les outils (workflow) et raccourcis dont j'avais besoin, écrire sur cette app est devenu d'une efficacité redoutable et un vrai plaisir.
J'écris des scénarios et je le fais un peu de partout avec un clavier Bluetooth.
J'ai créé des raccourcis pour les personnages. J'ai créé des outils pour sauvegarder ou partager en un clic toutes les étapes de mon travail. Le mode preview fonctionne (j'écris en fountain). Seul le mode sombre est pas encore au top (je m'en tape un peu cela dit). Là je n'ai plus envie, et plus vraiment besoin d'utiliser mon mac. J'écris, j'écris, j'écris et c'est bien là l'important.
