Synology Drive iOS mobile app allows you to easily access and manage files in your Synology Drive on the go. In addition to common file types, such as documents, images, videos, and music, the app's user-friendly in-app viewer can open Synology Office documents, spreadsheets, and slides. Convenient management features, such as syncing, searching, sharing, moving, and applying labels to files, are all available in the app, allowing users to complete tasks efficiently anytime, anywhere.

the app closes itself when i'm trying to play an audio file with the screen locked on iOS18
may likely be an iOS18 issue but apple told me to complain here first 😅
It fails to sync
On iPad it worked the first time but was unable to sync the second time resulting with errors… then I deleted the task to created a new one to force the sync but it failed again then I decided to create a read only task and it failed again then I made a new share to upload notes from my iPad and it again failed the second time…
iPad mini 2024 DS923+ you can't work with that and I would never deploy this drive it is just catastrophic on ipadipa(10.02.2025)
On Mac OS it works very efficiently and the server side is amazing.
I don't know if apple sabotages that
Works ok so far, except in iOS Files
The app itself mostly does what I expect from it, except being able to upload multiple files at once.
When I want to use Synology Drive from within the iOS Files App however the trouble starts. It’s slow, doesn’t work most of the time and just a pain to use.
Makes me want to switch back to Google Drive.
