Library Notes is a free, open-source iOS app for taking notes about the books you read. There’s no service, no accounts, no passwords. You always own your data.

If you are a book lover, your reading log and the notes you take about the books you read are one of the most important things you create in your life. Your notes help books become a part of you. Inspired by Commonplace Books, Library Notes is an iPad and iPhone app designed specifically for book notes.

To help you remember your book notes, Library Notes has “review mode.” Review mode scans your notes for quotes, prompt questions, and fill-in-the-blank questions. It prompts you with this material to make sure you constantly refresh your memory with all of the great things you’ve been capturing.

Very nice

I am using LN for a week now. I like it very much. HTML-formating is uncomfortable for me as I don’t know html so far.
A thing I miss is the Funktion of a „list of persons“, as separate part of a bookentry. I would like to have persons name(s) as header list and the descriptions as hidden text (pop up‘s). It would be very helpful if the entries would be sortable.
