If England do not win this game it will be seen as a national disaster, this is far more important than the recent election to a huge amount of English people.

The World Cup is a fantastic occasion with flags hanging everywhere you look. None of the U.S.A. team would be picked for the England team, except maybe in goal.

However that does not guarantee an England win, U.S.A. will run till they drop and not be under the pressure English players are. If we match them in work rate we should win, but I feel sure it will be very, very close.

I'm a big sports fan! Though I can not name a single player on the US team. Or any other world cup team, honestly.

I got my Sports Illustrated magazine this week and it featured a big WC primer. I thought it was a complete waste of paper that should have been saved for the rest of the world. I did see that most of our players play somewhere around the world.

Ok, so I hope england does well. And that we don't make asses of ourselves. Sports Illus picked England vs Spain in the finals. I forget who they picked to win. So thats who i pick! I have no idea what the score of US vs england will be... sorry.

Can any other american say honestly that he/she knows any of the players on our team? I can't promise I'll watch the game. I tried watching soccer in the past, and it didn't work out at all.

 

Psst!! If you really want to see 'well-muscled guys' check out the rugby players instead of the footballers!! Those guys make the soccer players look effeminate (apart from Wayne Rooney!!)
