Ratings and Reviews
Improving,still has issues
The application aligns more or less with the maturity of the product, which is to say it shows promise but is still under fairly heavy development. It more or less works and gives really good info on the device. Some of that diagnostic info could be made more human readable. Mapping is still a sore spot, maps can take a long time to create and can’t be edited, this is promised in a later release. Overall the device, the app and the rate of improvement meet what I was expecting.
Great App and product
Check out the Yarbo online- it's a very cool new product. I have the S1 snow blower module currently on my Yarbo, expecting the M1 mower and the Leaf Blower as well next year. The App works very well for programming and controlling the Yarbo- it is fun to fire it up and sit inside with a cup of coffee and watch it clear over 4,000 sq. ft. of snow on the driveway. Yarbo is a newer product, the company however has been at this for a while. they are very responsive to design suggestions.
Aggravating product
This Chinese product is absurd. I can’t even map. Just says return to starting point. There is NO starting point yet. The tutorials are a joke. Just some person walking around following the mower like they’re on a date. They want me to put the dock outside the work area, which is the yard. I’m thinking I can either have it hover above the yard or just have it squat it my neighbor’s. Clearly this is a snow blower first and mower second.
Update: Serious connection issues. Wifi and data center within feet of Yarbo. Such a tragic product and software.
Update 2: I HATE this app. Every time o try to map it gets lost under a tree and never maps. I slow walked my entire yard FOUR times now.
