Today, My Word Was Zloty

It’s nice to be able to play more than once a day but I’m not using hard mode and I still get words that seem unfair. This is a problem because when the database contains words that don’t follow the standard rules of English (see: ZLOTY), it stops being a strategy game and becomes a guessing game. Still… it has features that Wordle lacks, and definitely scratches that itch. I originally thought it was running in the background but I believe now that I was just playing it A LOT. Turning off 3D tiles seems to have helped quite a bit. I like it enough that if the Dev asked for some $$ for additional word sets or similar, I’d gladly pay.

Developer Response ,

Sorry yes, the daily words will sometimes be fairly uncommon words too, so it will generally be harder than similar games that use a specially-selected 'easy' word list. Normal eliminates most of the rarer words, but not all.
An update (v1.1, which should be out very soon) adds an energy saving feature so the game uses considerably less battery while playing (using a variable refresh rate). But yes as you cleverly worked out changing to the simple tiles also helps a fair bit too.
Thanks for playing!
