Wifi Pro 2 4+

Our poor user experience mirrors the many other comments already made. We are hardwired from the intercom box to the router (contractor recommended that vs relying on Wi-Fi), but system goes "offline" often and causes issues with holding gate open, notifications, etc. Very disappointed that our gate contractor (well regarded Seattle company) chose this intercom hardware for our very expensive gate system. I am considering changing out the system. If anyone has had success with a replacement please share it in the reviews. Thanks

Was discussing this crappy app with a friend and he suggested someone hack it and update it properly and regularly so it works as advertised and works with new phone upgrades. Maybe as a college computer science class project? For the life of me I can’t figure out why the creators are leaving monetary value on the table by dumping an app used by many. Right now I’m being quoted $4k for a new call box system that with work with my Liftmaster hardware (this is from the installation company that did it less than 6 years ago). Crazy.

You know when you are watching a movie from the 90s and the actor is browsing archaic websites. This might have been one of those, unchanged and sold off to unassuming homeowners who liked the hardware but didn’t realize the app was pure trash. It has made a $5k purchase a daily pain. We have to remotely open the gate for construction workers that are in and out and the app will just turn off after 20 seconds. After 2 viewing periods, the whole app just shuts off. Then you have to reload, and I don’t care what fast internet you have, it’s not a fast process. Then, to make matters worse, the new phone we had wouldn’t pair to the system and the installer who does this daily, had to spend over 3 hours fixing it and said he was frustrated with the whole app and setup. Needless to say we received an expensive bill for his learning period. He had to actually uninstall his own Wifi pro apps on his and his employees phones as the app kept trying to connect to them, which actually concerns me regarding safety.

This app is horrible. It is slow and delayed.. despite my fast internet connection. The user experience is ridiculous. Even as a relatively young person who is very familiar with technology, I have no idea what the icons mean or how to navigate through them. This app belongs in the 1990s. It is making me hate my gate. I would’ve never purchased this intercom if I knew it would be this inconvenient to use. I no longer get notifications when someone calls from the intercom unless I am actively in the app. I check my phone settings and all the notifications are on. I wish there was a large platform that sold they’re products so that reviews could be made and they could be held accountable for such trash. This is the worst app I’ve ever used. No exaggeration.
