Description
When did you last change your sheets? Did you take your multivitamin today? When Did I…? lets you track when you do things so you can answer these questions and more. Choose from our suggested Actions or add your own so you can keep on top of things you’ve done. From things you do every day, to things you only do once a year, the sky’s the limit.
NOT A “TO-DO LIST”: To-do list and habit trackers tell you what you should do. When Did I…? tells you what you have done and when and where you did it.
ACTIONS: Choose anything you’d like to track and pick your own emoji. See how long ago it was since you last did that thing and the location of where you did it. Just tap the row when you perform that Action and When Did I…? will remember it for you. For more details about that Action, tap the arrow on the right.
ACTION DETAIL: View a history of all the times you’ve logged that Action. Edit the title and choose your own emoji, add a past Event, and set up Siri Shortcuts.
EVENT DETAIL: See the exact time and location of the time you performed that Action. You can add a note or edit the date and time here too.
HISTORY: See your full history of all the Events you’ve added. What you’ve done today, yesterday and more.
ICLOUD SYNC: When Did I…? uses iCloud to seamlessly sync your data between your iPhone and your iPad.
SIRI SHORTCUTS: When Did I…? lets you add two types of Siri Shortcuts, including asking when you last did an Action and recording when you performed that Action. For example, “Hey Siri, when did I change my sheets?” Or “Hey Siri, I did change my sheets!”
THEMES: Change between light or dark mode and several fun color themes.

Fuzzy numbers make this hard to use for medicine
I really wanted to use this app to help me keep track of a number of medications I have to juggle after a surgery.
But I find the fuzzy numbering system used to indicate when is the last time I took a medication completely baffling. I would love to see at a glance that it’s been 8 hours since I took a medication. But the summary page will say 6 hours ago, when in reality it’s 8 hours ago. That’s too much fuzzy numbering to make this safe to use. At least for medical purposes.
All this needs is a setting to turn off fuzzy numbering, and get an accurate time, and this app would be so perfect.
Very useful and it is only version 1.0
It has been awhile since I have found an app that takes something so simple and makes it exciting. I have been tracking numerous things in notes on my phone. One example is when I changed the oil in my car and the mileage. Although notes did the trick this app is going to keep all of the data much more organized and easier to follow the historical data. I immediately added an entry for each of my vehicles and entered all of the historical data manually. It looks so much better than a text document and much easier to see at a glance “When did I” change the oil. Thanks and I can’t wait to see what comes in future updates.
I would like to add that adding the ability to add a reminder to items would be a good addition to the app. I know it is not meant to be a reminders app but I think it would make a really good hybrid app for logging and reminding.
Developer Response ,
Thank you so much, Wayne, for your awesome review! We are excited to hear how you are using the app. We appreciate your feedback!
Brilliant twist, thoughtfully presented
I don’t know Heidi, but I’m pretty sure she’s not a licensed psychologist. And yet she had tapped into something that, in many cases, more closely aligns with the way our brains actually work than the classic ToDo list or bullet journals that have been the rage for the last half century.
And I’m not a psychologist, either, so I won’t try to sell this opinion as anything other than my personal observation. But I am a dad of two small kinder, and this app just clicks with them. Kids (and grown ups) just naturally resist ToDo lists, because it’s a chore that needs to be done. This app twists the paradigm by focused on what you have done, not what needs to be done. It’s classic positive reinforcement. The attention is on that which has been accomplished, not that which needs to be done. It’s subtle, but it’s a perspective shift that, to borrow the words of Dan Harris, makes you 10% Happier.
