Wallet 967 is a legitimate way to become a billionaire. There is a lost Bitcoin wallet that holds around 854 million dollars now. And the app helps you to find a key for this wallet. Although the probability is very tiny, you can check your luck and collect all the money.

The process is pretty straightforward - the app just enumerates all possible private keys using Bitcoin blockchain algorithms and checks them. Each private key is a 256-bit number. The goal is to find the one which can produce the address of wallet 967.

Lovely concept

Curious if there’s a way to run this on desktop? Supposedly it would take a couple billion years to get it but I’m just curious if the attempts are tracked on a central point or not to avoid duplicate attempts of passwords the app has already tried universally. Also… background run capability would be cool since it only runs if the app is the only thing on screen.

Update: getting a mismatch error in app, any clue?
