Ratings and Reviews
Start From the Beginning
After a nerve wracking, why can’t I sign in after I subscribed (especially after I saw money being deducted from my wallet for the subscription and little to no response from tech help: how I solved the problem...I decided to just simply subscribe again, so at least I was inside the app to ask for help dealing with two subscriptions and lo, the app quickly adjusted itself and it was as though nothing had happened...I am subscribed...just one subscription 😊 couldn’t I have received that answer from someone?) As for the content, it is the walk at home I remember doing with Leslie Sansone. However, it has been decades and I want to start with beginner walks...I know there is a very first beginner walk...but can’t see it here. I clicked on the first 1-mile walk and it was hard to keep up. Other than that, I look forward to progressing as well as I can and walking away! [edited July 2021] it’s been working! I had a knee injury which kept me from starting for nearly 5 months. But I now I have been faithfully walking nearly every morning…did my first 3-mile walk yesterday. Proof that it is working: I simply feel better. I have so far lost 10 pounds. Today when I had to lean over to scrub hard water stains from the toilet (a long and tedious job), my back did not hurt when before I would barely start when pain began . Thank you, Leslie Sansone and her team!
Great option for variety
I had never tried this app until we packed up and moved across the country recently. All my WAH DVD’s are packed in a box and buried so I wasn’t able to workout. I remembered seeing this app so decided to subscribe and was able to start working out again. I like the variety and I love how they’re broken up into categories so if I have time for only two miles I know exactly where to look. I also love how when I find a video I love I can save it to my favorites and go right to it later on. Thanks for making a great app as an option for workouts at home! Been walking with Leslie since 2002 when my son was only two - it was nice to be able to workout at home while he played.
Not worth a Subscription price increase of over 30%!!
I just recently subscribed to this app thinking $5.00 was a pretty fair price. I’ve followed Leslie for over 20 years & have always enjoyed her videos. Today, I was informed it that it would be increasing $2.00 for the subscription that I’ve only had a little while & I cancelled immediately. While it didn’t bother me to pay $5, it appears to me that regular price increases are just going to become a habit. I have also had a lot of problems with the app trying to load in my browser or not load at all.
Additionally, I am figuring out that they don’t care too much these days about the part of the population that made Leslie famous. The videos and DVDs of hers that I purchased over the years had walking buddies in all shapes, sizes and age groups. The newer videos, even the ones with Leslie as leader, are primarily full of young, physically fit men and women who have probably never been an ounce overweight in their lives. There are a few of Leslie’s older videos available in the app, but not nearly enough, and many of my favorites are missing. There is nothing new for Leslie’s long-time followers, most like me who are approaching 60 or older.
No thank you to your $7 subscription— I can pop in my old Leslie Sansone DVDs or find lots of workouts more suitable to my age-group on the internet for free.
