With Vivaldi Translate, powered by Lingvanex, you can instantly translate entire web pages or selected text into more than 100 languages. Vivaldi Translate for web pages can be enabled from the main menu.
Having the translation feature built into the browser means your translation activity is for your eyes only, with no peeping from Big Tech
You can also use Vivaldi Translate as a panel on both iPhone and iPad when you want to translate a specific text to a different language.
On top of that, we've completely redesigned how you add new Speed Dials to your Start Page and made it easier to add frequently visited sites.

Browser champ for all the right reasons
Right now on iOS, you can go with door #1, where the browser’s integration is all that matters, with the convenient side effect of stifling competition by forcing WebKit and disallowing extensions. Door #2 wants to gobble up all of your information and make as much money off of it as possible. Most of the rest of the doors are inconsequential, essentially offering nothing noteworthy and a bunch of ads. Oh, there’s one that values your privacy…but LOVES cryptocurrency. Enter Vivaldi. Somehow, ads are blocked and websites remain unbroken. Fantastic. They value your privacy as well. Sign me up. They offer syncing and very feature rich browsing experiences on desktop (including Linux). This browser is a fantastic choice. It can be an even better choice if you write your representatives and demand the freedom of choice that Europe now enjoys on iOS. Bottom line: this browser deserves your attention.
Only Browser I Use
Recommended. Vivaldi is highly configurable yet easy to use right away. Its built-in email, calendar and newsreader work very well and seamlessly integrate with external providers. If you're just starting out in your digital life, Vivaldi's own email system is a great way to make this one piece of software--the Vivaldi browswer--a truly worthwhile one-stop-shop for most all daily organization and planning functions across your devices. Vivaldi allows me to move from IOS to MacOS to Pop!_OS without much mental overhead, vastly simplifying my work and personal computing. It's good software--reliable and stable in my experience.
Why care about what I think? I was a systems programmer and then software architect for 25 years. I've seen a lot of bad software, but Vivaldi continues to impress and delight me.
Get Yourself Off the Menu
Forget about the illusion of freebies. When it comes to online privacy, there are no free lunches. If you use free browsers and free email services, remember, you're the commodity on the menu. This is the strategy that propelled Alphabet (aka Google) into the trillion-dollar club. But if you're serious about your privacy, you've likely had to give up on some nice-to-have features. But today, the game has changed. I'm ecstatic I can finally use my favorite PC browser on my iPhone. Now, I can securely sync my passwords without handing them over to Google. I hold the only key to the encrypted vault. No more relying on third-party extensions to dodge Google's prying gaze. Kudos, Vivaldi!
